There is so much to learn from the land here at Wanuskewin, and this week we will explore things like foraging, hide tanning, tipi set up, bison, medicines, gardening, and more.

Local knowledge holders will share traditional teachings and connections to the plants, animals, water, and stories of this area. Have you ever grown your own vegetables or wondered where you could get food before there were grocery stores? Made your own clothes and toys from what is around you? Or wondered what it would be like to live on the land here pre-contact? Can you survive and thrive in some of the challenges presented during the week? Learn all of this and more!
