All are welcome at Wanuskewin.

Wanuskewin has been a gathering place for thousands of years. We are proud to continue this tradition and are committed to creating a space that is inclusive and accessible to all.

As an organization, we are always looking for ways to better accommodate our guests. Below are a few of the accommodations you can expect when visiting the park.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Our front plaza and Visitor Centre are wheelchair friendly. Wheelchairs are available to borrow from our front desk. We also offer accessible parking stalls at our on-site parking lot. Please note that our trail system is packed crusher dust to best preserve the opimihāw Valley and the entrances/exits to the valley can be steep, which means that the trails are not wheelchair accessible and can be difficult for people with mobility limitations.

Admission by Donation Days

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we are pleased to occasionally be able to offer Admission by Donation days to give everyone the opportunity to learn from and about this land. These dates change yearly and are dependent on funding from our sponsors—you can check our Event Calendar for upcoming dates.
