Enclosing Some Snapshots: The Photography of James Brady | Artist talks
April 21st | Olivia Gallery | 6pm – 8pm
On April 21st, to wrap up the exhibition Enclosing Some Snapshots: The Photography of James Brady in our Olivia Gallery, we are hosting artist talks with co-curators Paul Seesequasis and Marcel Petit. James Brady was a prolific Metis political activist and the driving force behind the creation of settlements in Alberta. These photographs are from Indigenous communities in Alberta and Saskatchewan that have been collected by the Glenbow Museum over the past 30 years. Join us from 6-8pm in a conversation about the exhibition, then enjoy some bannock and tea as you take in the artwork before this exhibition closes on May 8th.
*Event is open and free to the public.
