Wanuskewin Earns Record-Breaking Tourism Award Nominations

Wanuskewin has set another record for tourism in Saskatchewan, with five nominations for the 2019 Awards of Excellence.

Originally scheduled for April, the Tourism Saskatchewan Awards of Excellence had been postponed to November 10th, due to COVID 19, moving to a virtual event held on Facebook Live.

The park was honoured to have been recognized in three categories including “Gil Carduner Marketing Award” “Business of the Year (Over 20 Employees)” and “The Tourism Builder Award – Dr Ernie Walker”. The Tourism Builder Award celebrates Dr. Walker’s 40‐year legacy of education, and tourism excellence.
