Reflecting on contemporary northern aesthetics, We the North is curated from the Collection of the University of Saskatchewan and VTape. It is a small sample of the evolving practice of Inuit artisans, performance artists and film makers. Inuit people have been utilizing mediums found in their territories for thousands of years and have adapted and changed as their environment has, Inuit art practice reflects a strong and cohesive contemporary aesthetic.
