Holly Tennant is a Metis descendant of Iron Buffalo of the Plains who will be arriving from British Columbia and is looking forward to interacting with visitors during her time in the AiR Studio. She brings with her a collection of vintage photographs and memorabilia that inspires a mixed-media study of ancestors who migrated north and west from the Saskatchewan River Valley. Her artwork touches on preserving values, Metis lived experience, reclaiming Indigenous women’s voices, identity, and reconciliation.
