Teaching and Healing Through Plant Knowledge

This season, with the help of the community, Wanuskewin will be replanting our 7 Sister’s Garden, and caring for our medicine and pollinator garden spaces.

Teaching and Healing Through Plant Knowledge – Wanuskewin Gardens Initiative is an indigenous led,
community involved learning experience promoting connections to the land, traditional teachings,
reconciliation, and two-eyed seeing.

It will also be an opportunity for non-indigenous guests, visitors, and groups to be part of stewarding the
gardens by helping prepare the garden, take care of the plants, weeding, and harvesting at the end, as well as learning through teachings, and interpretive programming.

For more information on the gardens, email bookings@wanuskewin.com

And for Volunteer opportunities, email community@wanuskewin.com

Thank you Saskatoon Community Foundation for the generous support again this year.
