Showcasing artist Wally Dion
Saulteaux artist Wally Dion (Yellow Quill First Nation) will be in Wanuskewin’s Artist in Residence studio from October 22nd-November 5th, as the second in a series of four residencies with four artists, that will culminate in a group exhibition in 2022. Centered around the idea of “four”, Dion will be on site for two weeks as he explores his practice while consulting with Elders, archaeologists, and bison experts. This residency was made possible by Canada Council for the Arts, and the RBC Foundation, and supported by RBC Emerging Artists.
