Are you looking for an opportunity to get outdoors and make a difference in your community? Consider joining Wanuskewin Heritage Park’s Hand to Land program! Come out and spend some time reconnecting with the land, help us make the site healthier, take a walk around our beautiful park and collect litter!
Help the team at Wanuskewin remove unwanted waste and litter from the site to ensure the long-term health of the land. Volunteers through our Hand to Land program are an essential part of maintaining the vibrancy and conservation of Wanuskewin’s land, valley, and facilities.
Volunteer Duties:
- Use safety equipment and follow safety procedures
- Sign out equipment and follow safety procedures
- Dispose of litter at the appropriate locations, separating recyclables and non-recyclables.
All materials and required equipment will be provided by the park.
