More information on the programming today:
- USask Science Outreach – 11 am – 1 pm
- Dog Blanket Activity: Explore the symmetry of Indigenous artwork through Dog Blankets – a tradition jacket used in Dog Sled Racing. This activity invites participants to focus on how art and math are complementary to each other by designing their own dog blanket out of felt and craft supplies. Drop in Programming is ideal for all ages, and families with children require adult supervision.
- Bring Your Beads: Drop In Beading with Honey – 12 pm – 3 pm
- Calling all creatives: Bring your beads, that one unfinished project, and come visit with Honey and other creatives in the community. You are welcome to come and go as needed, visit, and join in for a little extra motivation. Tea and laughter will be provided. *Please note this is not a workshop to learn how to bead, but rather a space to support each others artistic growth and create space for visiting.
- Story Time with Saskatoon Public Library – 2 pm – 3 pm
- SPL family Storytimes are 30-40 minutes where we read 3-4 books alongside body breaks and music to help get some wiggles out. Programming is ideal for families with children.
