Join facilitators Kandis Capulet and mom Shelley Merasty this Wed, Sept 25th to visit, learn, and create some beautiful art!

As part of our September Reconciliation in Action Series, we are excited to host 3 paint nights this week.

 

Join inspiring Indigenous artists and survivors while they share stories, painting tips, and deep conversations leading up to National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

 

All materials supplied! (9×12 canvases, brushes, paint, pallets).
Water, tea, bannock & snacks provided.

 

*please note that as these are after hours events, the Wanuskewin restaurant, gift shop, and trails will be closed*

Kandis Capulet is a proud nêhiyawiskwêw from Flying Dust First Nation who finds her passion and joy though painting, beading, and sewing. Living in the city most her life, Kandis started her reconnection journey first with finding her voice, powwow dancing, and creating.  Inspired by kindness, humility, love, and watching people grow, Kandis thrives being able to create a connection between people and the act of reconciliation. A devoted mother and new kôhkom, she cherishes spending time with her family, and sharing her wisdom, positivity, and traditions whenever she can.
