Join our interpretive guides this fall for weekend public programming!
What to do at Wanuskewin this fall:
Visit Wanuskewin this fall to learn more about Northern Plains Indigenous cultures, histories, and stories. Your admission covers access to our Visitor Centre’s exhibit hall and art galleries, a nearly 7km trail network, playground, and Bison Viewing Platform. On weekends, we also have public programming that you can join. Our on-site Restaurant and Gift Shop are open daily. Self-guided activities like scavenger hunts are available at the front desk. Check our events calendar for any events, gatherings, or specialty days.
Operating Hours:
- Visitor Centre, Trails, and Playground: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Restaurant: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- On-site Gift Shop: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weekdays) | 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (weekends)
*Please note that we are CLOSED on statutory holidays October to April.

SATURDAYS | SUNDAYS
9:30 a.m. – Site opens
10:30 a.m. – Tipi Walk (indoors or outdoors, weather-dependent)
1:00 p.m. – Weekend Dance / Music Presentation
2:30 p.m. – Drop-in Table
3:30 p.m. – Drop-in Games
5:00 p.m. – Full Site CLOSED
