Learn how to make pride hoop earrings with Plains Cree artist Honey Constant-Inglis.
Join Plains Cree Two-Spirit Indigenous archaeologist and heritage educator Honey Constant-Inglis as you learn how to make your own pride hoop earrings.
Previous beading experience is a bonus but not necessary, and all materials will be provided.
The workshop fee covers:
- Your participation fee and the cost of materials for your pride hoop earrings
- Parking for the day and admission to Wanuskewin
- This includes access to our weekend public programming, which you can see here
- The Restaurant will be open 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Gift Shop will be open 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Refreshments (coffee, tea, and water)
Note: If you are registering more than one workshop participant, you will have to fully complete and pay for the first person, and then you can go back to this event page and register the other participant(s) the same way.

tânisi! Honey Constant-Inglis nitisîyikasôn. pakitahwâkan-sâkahikanihk ohci niya.Hi! I am Honey River (They/Them) and I am Plains Cree from Sturgeon Lake First Nation. I am the Two Spirit Artist, Indigenous Archaeologist, and Heritage Educator of Honey Willow.
Honey Willow nêhiyaw Studio is named after the Red Willow plant and its teachings that have been passed down through nimosôm. Honey Willow is for anyone on a reconciliation journey. We focus on initiatives and projects that honour Indigenous heritage and community care. This includes education on dispelling myths, turning theory into practice, and connecting meaningfully with one another. Our work is focused within four pillars: Rooted in Colour, Building Confidence, Creating Action, and Reinventing Standards. These days, I enjoy spending time in community and learning about your connection to colour.
