Indigenous Artisan Market

Wanuskewin is excited to welcome you to our Indigenous Artisan Market in December! Our Indigenous Artisan Market showcases established and upcoming Indigenous Artists, Artisans, and Entrepreneurs in and around our community. There will be cultural programming throughout the day, and many different shopping opportunities from a variety of vendors.
Note: Many of our vendors only accept cash and there is no ATM on-site, so please plan ahead.
Regular admission rates apply—admission includes access to all of our vendors, as well as our trails, exhibits, galleries, and all of the public programming throughout the day! If you are a Wanuskewin member, you can use your membership card to access the market for free!
Things to do at Wanuskewin:
Learn more about Northern Plains Indigenous cultures, histories, and stories. Your admission will cover access to our Visitor Centre’s exhibit hall and art galleries, a nearly 7km trail network, playground, Bison Viewing Platform, and our weekend public programming. Self-guided activities like scavenger hunts are available at the front desk.

- Visitor Centre, Trails, and Playground: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Vendor Tables: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Restaurant: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- On-site Gift Shop: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (weekends)
Schedule for the Day:
9:30 a.m. – Site opens
10:00 a.m. – Vendor Tables open
10:30 a.m. – Tipi Walk (outside, pending weather)
1:00 p.m. – Weekend Dance / Music Presentation
2:30 p.m. – Drop-in Table
3:30 p.m. – Drop-in Games
4:00 p.m. – Vendor Tables close
5:00 p.m. – Full Site CLOSED
