Following a month-long residency as part of the Olivia & Greg Yuel Artist-in-Residence Program, Métis artist Holly Tennant will have a solo exhibition from November 4th, 2023 to January 25th, 2024 in the Greg Yuel Gallery. Blanche shows the survival of Indigenous women, the Métis lived experience, and the rebirth of self. Named after the artist’s grandmother, Tennant weaves handwritten pieces throughout her work to tell the story of her family’s history.
Join us on November 4th at 1pm for the opening of this inspirational exhibition, with opening remarks by curator Olivia Kristoff followed by an artist talk by Holly Tennant.
