During this beading circle, you will learn Métis & Cree beading styles while you share stories over a pot of tea.
Work at your own pace on your beadwork. Reap wellness as your heart rate slows, blood pressure regulates, you shed stress and connect with traditions. A day of traditional art, mind and spirit.
This workshop is for all levels, no experience needed.
Free parking and admission to the site, trails, and exhibits are included in the cost. Our restaurant will be open, or you can feel free to bring your own lunch. Coffee, tea, and water will be provided as refreshments!
Registration is limited to 12 spots, with a waitlist if necessary.
Quinn Franks
tānisi! My name is Quinn and I am a multidisciplinary artist from La Ronge SK. My work is largely influenced by my mixed First Nations/Métis/Settler lineage, my experiences as a young Two-Spirit person, as well as through my connection to the land. I picked up beading over the pandemic after asking my kohkum for years to teach me. She gave me the supplies needed to start my first beading project, and the rest is history!
