Wanuskewin conducts tours year round and has some great options for you and your students!

Our programs are designed to meet the renewed Saskatchewan Curriculum in a fun, engaging and interactive environment. Did you know that we also conduct offsite programming in the winter and group tipi sleepover excursions from May until October?

School Tour Admission Rates
Student (preschool to grade 12) $4.50
Adult Student (18 years and up) $5.50
Teachers and chaperones are free with tour group

A tour includes:

  • Introductory DVD Presentation (time permitting)
  • 2 – Regular Guided Programs, or 1 – Specialty Guided Program (based on Guide availability) – Max 30 people (plus chaperones) per tour
  • Additional Programming or Guides available for $75.00 per program
  • Daily dance performance 2 p.m. (May long weekend – Sept long weekend)

To book your tour, fill out our booking request form or call 306-931-6767 ext. 245 for more information or to get in touch with our tour booking coordinator. Our tour bookings fill up quickly for the months of May and June so we recommend making a booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Outreach programming involves an interpretive guide from Wanuskewin coming to your site to deliver programs. Several of the programs Wanuskewin offers can be brought to you.

Outreach pricing:

  • 1 program – $125.00
  • 2 programs – $200.00
  • 3 programs – $275.00
  • 4 programs – $350.00

EXAMPLE of an onsite school tour itinerary (PLEASE NOTE, we will be flexible with timing based on your booking requirements)
9:30am Arrive at Wanuskewin and get oriented with the facility
9:40am 16 minute dvd presentation introduction in the theatre
10:00am tour program with a visitor services guide
11:00am Free time to explore the park with a teacher or chaperone
12:00pm lunch break *enjoy your lunch outdoors on a nice day or indoors in a designated spot
